Hi you,
has anybody any idea why I can't RECORD sound using my microphone anymore?
It has been working in SuSE 8.2 and maybe 9.0 (I am not sure and I don't know anymore whether I tried it in 9.1, I guess not).
However, in 9.2 (up to date) it doesn't work anymore using kRecord 1.15.1 on KDE 3.3.0.
The microphone DOES work fine, f.e. I CAN use Skype to make softphone calls and I CAN play soundfiles, but I couldn't figure out how to record sound with
krecord using my microphone.
When I start kRecord it gets up normally. When I push the record button all seems perfect, except that it doesn't show any signal to be recorded and the record
has total silence afterwards. I was playing with the options, switches and whatever in kmix, but it didn't change anything!
Can anybody help please?
hopefully
Martin
