[SLE] "Warning: this is an unsecured session." when trying to log in

    hi,

    a friend of mine is having problems with her kde log in. using suse 9.2.
    it gives the above message, and apparently doesn't allow her to log
    in... not 100% sure what is happening, cause she apparently can't get
    down to a regular terminal screen (ttyX). she's a general computer user,
    and i haven't seen the problem yet, so her description is very blurry
    (i.e. she *should* be able to get to the terminal, but she says she can't).

    anyone heard of a similar problem? any ideas how to fix it?
