[SLE] Memory prob with Quanta

    Hi,

    Whenever i launch Quanta 3.2.1 of SuSE 9.1, i get memory problems.
    Ctrl+Esc tells me that Quanta uses 65% of user memory. This percentage
    jumps to 83% when i open a file in Quanta for editing. My laptop fan
    begins to work continuously.

    Is this normal?

    I searched the list archives but couldn't find a relevant thread.
