Just curious if anyone has moved a solaris based NFS server(s) to SLES 9. (NFS servers with heavy
enterprise load with say 5 TB+ of data)
We tried moving these systems to Linux a few years back using the 2.4 kernel but due to the
scheduler issues in pre 2.6 kernels it failed miserably. I was hoping the 2.6 kernel was up to the
task so we can finally purge Sun and Veritas from our enterprise.
Thx for any info
