    Thanks for the response, Richard, but perhaps my message wasn't clear.
    I have used apt to retrieve the kernel sources from kernel of the day on
    the apt repository. Unfortunately those sources change frequently and
    are already later than the stable 2.6.10. the latest one there,
    2.6.10-20050214173157, is actually 2.6.11something or other. Because of
    that, the nvidia driver won't compile. I am looking for the plain
    vanilla 2.6.10 kernel with the SuSE patches.
