[SLE] poweredge does not boot from cd

I have a running system (SuSE8.1) on a Dell poweredge 500sc. This
machine's BIOS for whatever reason does not see the cdrom-drive at hdd,
making it impossible to boot from CD.
I want to boot from the cd, because I want to install 9.2 on this thing.

Is it possible to enter a line in grub's menu.lst, so that i can boot the
cd and install??
