[SLE] Suse 9.2: rpm -ba doesn't work

Good day.
I have installed suse 9.2.
Now i'm trying to build rpm package from source.
On other distros it can be done by rpm -ba <spec file>.
But rpm in suse tells me:
-ba: unknown option
So, what's wrong with my suse or my /dev/hands?
