    Assuming you have Gnome installed:
    1. When you log in, the session manager should have a pull down menu where
    you can select your window manager.
    2. If you are currently using KDe, click on the start menu "switch user".
    When the session manager comes up, select menu, session type, Gnome.
    Ctrl-alt-F7 gets you back to your KDE session, ctrl-alt-F8 gets you to your
    Gnome session
    3. You can use startx from a virtual terminal also.
