    Hi,

    I did not read all the thread, so maybe you already had the answer.
    Here's how I solved the problem :

    issue in your home directory :
    touch .no-qtrc-to-gtkrc-mapping

    create in your home directory a file called : .gtkrc-2.0
    which contain the following line :

    gtk-font-name = "sans 8"

    That worked for me.
