    Hello everyone,

For CAD/CAM purpose, I'm assessing a Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW monitor,
which is a 24" WUXGA 1620x1200 LCD. I have seen some discussions about
Linux issues on the web, and I am not sure if it will work properly. I
searched Suse's hardware database, but didn't find support for
widescreen LCDs from Dell, model 2005FPW or 2405FPW.

Dell has created a list of video card support (on Windows I expect) for
    this widescreen LCD:
    http://www1.us.dell.com/content/learnmore/learnmore.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&%7Eid=monitors&%7Eline=desktops&%7Emode=popup&%7Eseries=optix&%7Etab=other

Any suggestions regarding proper video card and possibly knowledge or
expectiations of Suse 9.3/Xorg support for this wide LCD are welcome.

    Rgds,
    Terje J. Hanssen
