[SLE] openafs issues

I installed the openafs rpm distributed with suse 9.2.
after configuring the /etc/systconfig/afsclient file, I try to start
the afs client with
/etc/rc.d/afs-client start
I get the following error:
/etc/rc.d # ./afs-client start
