Hello,
I've upgraded from SuSE 9.0 to SuSE 9.3. I had a problem with some usb devices
working on 9.0 but NO on 9.3. I happily found the reason and the fix is
trivial:
See whether you have in /etc/fstab the line
usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb usbdevfs noauto 0 0
you have to change to
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
And reinit the system. After that, my Kamera Canon Ixus 400 was here again!.
Hope this will help to some desperate SuSE user, like me :).
Guillermo
