    Hi,
Sorry to bother you but I am confused about usb connections.
My Anypak 20GB drive auto-connected whenever I plugged it in.
That is to say, Konqueror auto-openned a new window showing
the top directory of the drive.
This morning it suddenly refuses to open; and the entry which
SuSE had previously automatically entered into /media has gone.
The only "reason/cause" I can think of is my attempting to get
my scanner working, but I don't think I touched anything around
    my drive entry.
    My fstab is:

    /dev/hde2 / reiserfs
    /dev/hdf2 /data1 auto noauto,user 0 0
    /dev/hde1 swap swap pri=42 0 0
    /dev/hdf1 swap swap pri=42 0 0
    devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
    proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
    usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0
    sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0
    /dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder subfs (snip)
    /dev/dvdrecorder /media/dvdrecorder subfs (snip)
    /dev/fd0 /media/floppy subfs (snip)
    /dev/sda /media/anypak vfat noauto,user 0 0

    Related:
My 64 MB flash stick does not auto-load now, and could not connect
via the /media directory; however after booting while plugged in
this drive became visible, but not the 20GB Anypak.

I already feel guilty that I've stuffed up something :-(
    Thanks for any helpful pointers.
    Colin
