Hi there, I use TB both on windoze and linux machine. I put all the mails in a
fat32 partition under the TB_mail folder, then just after installing TB i
choose "Profile Manager" form the win menu OR launch "mozilla-thunderbird -P"
    from the linux console.

In this way i say to both systems WHERE my email is archived and the account
settings are shared over the two systems. I got problems when an extension of
TB is available only for one of the two OS and then i got some funny
"renderization" problem from TB itself .... when i'm on win basically i launch
"Thunderbird safe mode", on linux i've got to find the switch, but generally
on the mozilla forums everything is pointed out ...

    just my (useless?) 0,02€
