    I sort of got it.... I removed and reinstalled (from apt servers) cups
    and the foomatic filters... and now I have PDF available (weird...
    dunno why it wasn't there to begin with)... but now I get CUPS errors.
     I can sort them out though :-)

    Strange though that I have the same problem on 3 separate installs.
