[SLE] SuSE 9.3

    Hey Group;

    What the heck (cleaned up ) is causing SuSE to tell me as root (not
    "su") that I don't have permission to install a program.
    I then do "l /usr/lib/directory" and get "Permission denied"
    "root" installed it and is trying to "l" it.

    I am about ready to dump SuSE if this kind of problem persist

    It is like a hidden set of permissions.
