No. CDs & DVDs start from the hub. You may recall the old vinyl
records. The different sized disks had different start points, which
made things more complex for turntables & changers. With all CDs & DVDs
starting from the inside track, all disks, no matter what size, all
start from the same point. With hard drives, it's irrelevant where
"track 0" is.
