[SLE] php not interpretated

Don't know if it's suse related :-( but it's on a 9.0 comfig
I use mediawiki (1.4), apache2,php (v? default)
when I try to edit a wiki page, very frequently, I get a
"application/x-httpd-php" can't cope with, write to disk or
open? from thunderbird or mozilla
looks like if the apache server sent the php code in place
of the html page
an idea?
