    That part is no longer relevant. There were some missed dependencies in
    the RPM packages for the initial 3.4 release for SuSE wich lead to some
    necessary packages not getting installed. Those problems were
    subsequently fixed and I did not encounter that problem in the
    following 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 releases.
