I am having some trouble installing some .rpm files
that I downloaded from packman. I was able to install
about 200 packages with no problems but am having
problems with about 20. I am using SUSE 9.3.
Below is the commands and the output.
In short I type rpm -Uhv d*.rpm and the packages seem
to load, however, rpm -qa cannot find them and they
don't seem to have installed afterall.
Typing rpm -Uhv d*.rpm again doesn't give me a the
package is already loaded error message.
Yast seems to have the same problem, ie, seems to
install the package but can't find it later.
So why would everything indicate that a package is
being loaded into the system when it is not?
