    Excellent idea Roy. I have already done something along these lines.
    Now, I tend to e-mail Canon and ask them whether they are supporting
    Linux nowadays as I'm looking for (insert piece of hardware as
    appropriate). At least it lets them know that I am still considering
    Canon.
