Hello,
I have installed SuSE 9.3 on my laptop about a month ago. Everything I have
been using was working without problems, but lately my wireless card looses
connection to the network.
ifconfig shows that the device is up and that the DHCP has assigned an IP
address, but I cannot access the network.
When bringing the interface down, up and setting the default route again:
# ifdown eth1
# ifup eth0
# route add default gw 192.168.100.1
When performing this ritual the wireless network is working again. If I then
stop using the network for a while, it looses connectivity again and I have
to repeat the above process. When I reboot the connection to the wireless
network is established but as soon as I stop using it for a while, it looses
connectivity.
Might it be that I missed something during configuration?
Albert
