Any recent updates of gtk2 or gnome stuff? I had such a problem with
9.1 and some new version of gtk2 in the past. Downgrade solved the
problem. Both programs have only 2 similarities - they are gnome (gtk)
programs, and they deal with the rpm database. Check if the database
is not corrupted, and if it is OK, then the next suspect is gtk2.
