Sun is way over priced. I currently have many servers from Appro
(http://www.appro.com). They warranty their hardware and pre-test the
hell out of it before you get it. Their pricing is very good. Look at
their mid-rack opteron blade servers. You can get their blade dome
commander and have full remote power, serial console without all the
hassle. The best setup I have found for co-location. And SuSe will
    definitely work on them.

Since I assume the drives will be the same size and you will be
installing on one drive just do a "cat /dev/sda > /dev/sdb". Copies the
whole drive. the RAID way is too many steps.
