Here are two options: 1) Configure a samba domain to use a ldap
backend for authentication. The Linux clients will use the ldap
server via pam and the Windows clients will use the samba domain which
will validate against the ldap backend. 2) Build a custom gina.dll
that will validate against your ldap directly and then copy it to all
your Windows clients and setup all your Windows clients to use the new
custom gina.dll instead of the msgina.dll. Requires a reg hack.

I don't recommend the last option, I just offer it as another option.
The last time I tried it I had about a 50/50 success failure rate on
the Windows boxes. Some would authenticate against my ldap server and
others would bsod. I prefer the first option as nothing special needs
to be done to the Windows clients other than add them to the samba
    domain.
