First, I have been away for several months but hope that will not influence
anyone to the negative when it comes to answering my queries. I was a member
of this forum for several months before that and found good answers, here. I
hope that hasn't changed! :-)
Second, I have SuSE 10 installed and working pretty darn well except for the
Synaptics touchpad which driver seems a bit flakey. For one thing, I have to
tap it several times, on occasion, to get the tap to 'take'. In other
instances a browser page will suddenly disappear in favor of the previous
page (or the one before that one, at times) when moving the mouse pointer.
In still other instances a right-click menu will disappear the instant I try
to move the pointer ...but does that once, only. The very next attempt has
no problem.
Is anyone out there having any issues approximating mine? I need a suggestion
for an alternate driver. So far any driver I have tried fails when I select
'Test'.
Thanks!
