I am trying to upgrade 9.3 to 10.0. After numerous packages failed to
load, I finally got to the point where grub was to upgrade. At this
point I get an error that it cannot find the hard drive / partition it
    is looking for.
Is there some way that I can get to a command line and find out what is
going on. Find out what hard drive it is actually seeing and where it
    should put grub?
I'm afraid of trying to continue, because I am concerned I will lose
access to the personal files which I have installed. I can't remember
right now if they are ext3 or reiserfs.
