    What package (software) are you using when you click these controls?

    You want Tuner 0 as your input for that card.

    The only software I have used that card with is mythtv
    so I may not be able to help. But at least it sounds like its
    loading the card right.

    Oh, and /lib/firmware/ is the proper place for the firmware
    on SuSE.
