    Hello SUSE wizards and users.

I am former Slackware user, who used Linux From Scratch before, and now
I am using SUSE 10.0 at work and on my home desktops.
Almost everything works good, I am very happy with yast, I don't need to
configure things manually, even if I know how to do it, however - with
    one thing I failed.
This thing is USB storage media, like Pendrive or portable MP3 player.

When you plug it in - SUSE automagicaly mount it.
    You think that's great? Wrong.
It mount it as root user!
It means that it's impossible to write on it from user account.
So I wanted to umount it.. which is of course impossible with konqueror
(there is already thread about this problem here, on this mailing list).
I can umount it when I use root shell, but - I need to manually add it
to /etc/fstab to mount it later as an user.

Is it a bug in SUSE 10.0? Was it like that in earlier versions?

Is there a way to fix that, so I could mount/umount USB in file manager,
or better - to mount it automagicaly as current user and sync it on demand?

Where can I read about automagical mount system in SUSE? Is it just udev?
