Run these at the command line:
rpm -q gtk
rpm -q gtk-config
If they tell you they are not installed, then you need to install them,
i.e., go to your favorite mirror, find them, download them, and install
them, like so:
rpm -Uhv gtk*
Then try installing ghemical again.
