I have an ongoing annoyance with my Logitech Quickcam 3000 Pro. If I boot the
computer with the cam plugged in (with SuSE and Mepis) I get a mixer with 1
slider for the USB microphone, and the regular sound card (Sound Blaster
Live) does not have a mixer and does not work.
I always have to remember to unplug the cam before rebooting. If I wait until
the system is up and running before plugging in the cam, my sound card works
and has its mixer. The kmix display then has two tabs, one for the USB mic
and one for the sound card. Is there a solution that will let me leave the
cam plugged in while rebooting and still have sound working?
Thank you.
Bryan
