[SLE] LVM starts before USB on boot

Just bought a USB external harddrive, partitioned it, and set up an
LVM group and a couple of volumes. On boot, everything seems to
tank, because LVM is started before the USB modules are loaded, and
then the harddrive is mounted as /media/usbdisk.

How can I get the USB modules to load before LVM, or any other way to
fix this?
