Re: [SLE] eth0 now eth1 WTF? Network woes....The saga....[Long]

Welcome to the ranks of the damned. SuSE changed the way that eth
devices are assigned interface names in version 9.3 and it has since
turned into a religous issue. I maintain that it's the stupidest move
since 640K, but whenever I say so I'm maligned.

There are two solutions to the problem. Here's the one that I use-

If you don't use shorewall, put it in boot.localnet
