[SLE] Evolution and popmail

I am running evolution for downloading all my popmails. I find it is
very slow esp when compared to outlook express. While the latter is
express downloading even 200+ messages in about a minute, this evolution
takes about 10 times longer. How i can tune my evolution ? Thanx for any
help.
