Can somebody explain why the message occurs and should I do something to
not have the message?
The Refresh setting for one or more of your sources is set to On. This is
supposed to refresh the list of packages that are available at the defined
source locations -- so that you get to know of updates. But the refresh
feature is broken, at least for local directories acting as sources. The only
solution I know is to turn off Refresh (see bottom right of the Installation
Sources screen). I don't know why I *still* haven't filed a bug in this
regard... (Same thing happens on both SUSE 9.3 and SUSE 10.0)
