Then don't use it. SLP is a service locator. I really have no idea how
it works, but it sure isn't necessary to use nfs or samba.

Use Go/Network Folders, which brings up "remote:/" If you use the
navigation panel (F9) in Konqueror, you can easily create a folder in
the sidebar to do the same thing.
