[SLE] kuser not starting from Gnome

I just setup Suse 10.0 on my XP using VMWare. Kudos to the development
team, it was the simplest, most complete installation of any Linux/Unix
OS I have experienced (Red Hat, Solaris, Mandriva, Fedora).
When logged in a root, using Gnome, kuser does not start from the
menu. If I go to the console and start kuser via the command line it
starts and work fine. How do I fix the menu structure so that it
starts?
