[SLE] /boot/grub/suse- i586 & noarch?

I was doing a backup today, and I noticed a directory of
files, /boot/grub/suse/i586 and noarch.
what are a bunch of rpms doing in that folder?? They look like old
versions, and versions I don't have installed.
Can they be deleted?
