Why winSCP?

install cygwin on the windoz machine and scp from the linux box.

I'm already using WinSCP for "work", so why install cygwin? would it
give me more functionality?

winscp does exactly what I need, I can copy files from my Linux box to
the XP box, so I can burn backups, etc to DVD.
