[SLE] Font settings

Hello SuSE people,
Running 10.0 and KDE3.5.1
In my non KDE apps, Firefox, NVU, GQView etc. the fonts are normally very
small. I installed and use gnome-control-center to make the fonts readable
and comparable to the KDE settings. Works just fine, except when I shut-down
and reboot the fonts in those apps revert to their original size. I just have
to open gnome-control-center and close it again to regain the font size I
want.
Question is: Where and what do I do to have the settings maintained between
reboots? It is probably some init file at boot but which one and what do I
put in there?
Bob S.
