I am surprised that a person who has just been made a "Boss" does not
know what to say to her employees, and that she is going to make a
"speech" and not a "speach". I wonder how she got through the
selection panel interviews?

My suggestion is:

1) She should tell her employees of her vision for the future of the
firm and how she means to achieve it.

2) How she is going to change working practices.

3) What she is going to do concerning future pay increases and holiday
entitlements.

4) Her thoughts on Trade Union recognition.

5) She should explain to them the correct procedure for reporting
problems and how she will respond.

6) She should extol the virtues of Linux over Windows, comparing the
various Linux distributions.

7) Finally, she should say that, from the following day, her firm will
be abandoning Windows and using Linux exclusively.

Alternatively, she could give a talk on her last year's holiday -
which would probably be far more interesting to her staff ;-)

Cheers

Keith
