[SLE] Xen as replacement for vmware

Greetings,
Seems it is quite a job to get Xen to work, even though Suse provides a Xen
kernel...
I must ask if it is even worth all the effort to get a new kernel and system
to run Xen, because the documentation just goes on about domains and mor
domains..
What about just running windows, is Xen capable of doing this ?
If so is there anthing I need to know, as when I boot the kernel I get and
error 5: file not found, or I get an error 13: invalid file format
I have run mkinitrd
mkinitrd -k vmlinux-2.6.13-15-xen.gz -i initrd-2.6.13-15-xen -d /dev/hda1 -s
1024x768
Thanks Chadley
