I know there is a website on the internet where you can fill in the specs
and then it creates a downloadable .vmx file that can be used by VMplayer.

Greetings,
Seems it is quite a job to get Xen to work, even though Suse
and systemkernel...
I must ask if it is even worth all the effort to get a new kernel
morto run Xen, because the documentation just goes on about domains and
VMware Viewer is also free but will not allow you to create hosts. Thedomains..
What about just running windows, is Xen capable of doing this ?
According to the Xen web site, no - not at this time.
VMware workstation is reasonable priced and works fine.
And VMware server is free and works fine also.
When did THAT go free??? I must have missed the announcement - thanks
for the heads up!!!
server version (GSX?) in beta is currently free and supposedly will
continue to be free.
PALO ALTO, Calif., February 6, 2006 VMware, Inc., the global leader in
virtual infrastructure software for industry-standard systems, today
introduced VMware Server, a free new entry-level hosted virtualization
product for Linux and Windows servers. The product is available as a
beta download at www.vmware.com/products/server/.
