Re: [SLE] Firefox going down or what?

Can anyone shed any light on the original posters problem as to why this
browser is so sluggish?

It may be something going on with his network settings in Linux. Is Konquerer as slow, or is it much faster? Have any browsers besides Firefox been tested in Linux? I assume that you have a DSL connection, has it ever worked fast in Linux for you? Is it a buggy extension or a combination of extensions that are slowing this down. Have any changes been made in the about:config page? There could be many reasons. Answering theses questions might provide a better start.
