[SLE] Why isn't there OpenSUSE on SPARC?

Hi All,
maybe the question is silly and/or I was unable to find an answer but,
why the development of SUSE Linux on SPARC has been discontinued? Are
there any plans to (re)start such a thing?
Although other *nix flavours exist I'd love to install SUSE on my Sun w.s. :)
Thanks,
-mw
