How do I fix this? What caused it?
An strace might give a clue. You can run
strace -f -F -o lpq.strace lpq
You won't be able to post it on the list (it'll get stripped off), so if you
have the option, put it somewhere on the web where people can get to it, and
then post the link
Or, if you like, you can send it to me directly off-list, and I'll have a look
at it
