That page does look to be your best source. I clearly don't really
understand exactly what you need, but isn't this the source tarball?

There seems to be one for each of the last 20 or so versions and a few
dated builds. I'm sure that you'll have no trouble getting it to
build if you have kernel sources, gcc and make installed. (there seem
to be makefiles present to automate the whole process).
