[SLE] After upgrade to 10.1 sound does not work (snd-atiixp)
After upgrading my HP nx6125 notebook from SUSE 10.0 to 10.1 (x86_64),
the sound module fails.
The sound card is an ATI IXP SB400 AC'97.
This used to work under SUSE 10.0.
Now, when I try to configure the card, YaST (and alsaconf) tries to
load the snd-atiixp module, but YaST always return an error, no matter
which options I try.
When it tries to configure the card, the following message appears in
the messages file:
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:14.5[B] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 209
I googled, but did not find aything useful
Any ideas how to get the sound working again?
Thanks
