Greetings,
I did a fresh install of 10.1 last week. Today I'm trying to rip a CD using
KAudiocreator and it's not working out too well. I get the disc inserted
and the KAudiocreator started up, the CDDB lookup goes ok. I select the
tracks to rip, then choose the OggEnc and get the following error:
Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_audiocd'.
I found a suggestion online to install kmultemedia-kio-plugins, which I'm
not finding in the SuSE repos anywhere. I've installed everything else off
the install CD's that references kmultimedia, but still no luck.
I am able to play CD's using amaroK.
What am I missing, or should I be looking at?
Hey Rob-
I've never had a lot of luck with kaudiocreator. you might want to install
Grip and use that program instead. I find it's more configureable.
