[SLE] SuSE 10.1 GRUB

Boot from CD:
I tried to add in bootloader CD and /dev/hdb which is reported to me when I give a CD into the tray.
When I boot it shows me only an error about /dev/hdb + 1
What would be the right way to boot from CD as an option?

I want to have an option of checking the RAM, how do I add this?

logout leaves me with an empty screen.
I think it is a result of a message during an update (conflict with kdebase.)

I tried to use YAST again to update, but the list of all patches is still here all ticked. F1 tells me that I can omit the already installed patches in the list, however the mentioned checkbox does not exist.

Any help would be appreciated.

bye

Ronald
